SATS exams in key stage 2 occur in your childs final year at primary school. They are critical exams in terms of yours child's confidence just before entering secondary school and are often used by schools in assessing where children are placed in the school. A series of booster classes or a longer term programme over a few months will make a signifiicant difference to yours child's early experience and success at secondary school.
Key Stage 2 tests and teacher assessments
Key Stage 2 tests for 11 year olds cover:

These tests are taken on set days in mid-May, and last less than five-and-a-half hours altogether.
